The weather was really warm and everyone had a good time, this weekend set the seed for many more to come.

This time it was quite chilly in the evenings but we kept warm with a roaring camp fire.
We had a trip into town on Saturday and a game of rounders on sunday.
May 04, Highfield farm,Fenny Bentley, nr Ashbourne Derbyshire.
This was our first meet in 04, we had a trip to Ashbourne. We also did a long walk from the site accross the fields, over Thorpe Cloud to Dovedale. I say 'long' because true to form we took the wrong route, it also involved a stop off at a hotel for refreshment.
June 04, Rivendale, Derbyshire.
We had a trip to Bakewell and a farmers Market. On Sunday we went walking through Lathkildale before lunch.
Aug 04, Thorntons Holt, Stragglethorpe, Radcliffe on Trent, Notts.
It started off very wet, parts of the site were under water but then turned very hot for the rest of the weekend, I remember we were plagued by wasps,
On Sunday we went walking in the nearby country park.
Oct 04, The Grouse and Claret, Rowesley, Derbys. (Halloween)
Here we all got dressed up for the evening and rode on the 'ghost' train'.
May 05, Windcatch C.P, Spalding, Lincs.
This was our first meet of 05. We came here for the flower festival, the site was a bit basic and I remember we had a thunder storm at night but the weather turned out lovely for the festival.
June 05, Brindley Keys, Daventry, Northants.
Here we dressed as pirates and hired a narrow boat for the day, naming her 'The Black Pig'.July 05, Fosseway Farm c&c site, Morton in the Marsh, Gloucestershire.
I remember it was very hot here and most of our time was spent lounging around, eating and drinking. Me, Al, Holly and Lucy visited Batsford Aboretum.

This was where we celebrated Pauls 50th birthday and then on Sunday we had a conker tournament, Mary won.

Nov 05, Tallington Lakes, Stamford. Lincs.
It was very cold when we stayed here, it had a clubhouse and we virtually had the place to ourselves. The winter ale was particularly good, needless to say we didn't feel the cold when we came out later on.
